What are The Eleven's Rules?
The general list of rules can be found here. Please note that additional rules and regulations may be found in other governing documents.
Moving In
Do I need to schedule my move?
-
Yes. All moves (including roommates moving in or out) must be scheduled in advance with the front desk concierge. Only one move is permitted per day, so reserve early.
How far in advance should I schedule?
-
Moves must be scheduled at least two weeks before your requested date. Moves cannot be scheduled on holidays, and Saturday moves are limited and require concierge availability.
What are the move hours?
-
Monday–Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
-
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (we generally do not allow Saturday moves. If approved and concierge is available; extra fee applies)
-
No moves on holidays.
Who do I contact to schedule my move?
-
Please contact the front desk concierge at 202-216-9119 or elevencondo@gmail.com. Moves will not be scheduled without the required paperwork and fees.
What paperwork is required?
-
Sale: Provide a copy of the HUD-1 Settlement Sheet.
-
Lease: Provide a copy of the Lease and Addendum (signed by all parties).
-
Documents must be submitted at least 5 days before the move. Without proper documents submitted in advance, you cannot move into the building.
What fees and deposits are required?
-
$300 refundable deposit (separate check)
-
$200 nonrefundable Move Fee
-
Checks should be made payable to The Eleven Condominium Association. Please obtain a receipt from the concierge.
Where should moving trucks park?
-
Trucks smaller than 10 feet may park on the garage ramp.
-
Trucks taller than 10 ft cannot enter the garage ramp.
-
Park along 11th Street, without blocking the garage entrance.
-
For large trucks, you must request “No Parking” signs from the DC Department of Transportation and post the tickets 3 days in advance.
-
Any trucks blocking the driveway or entrance will be ticketed and towed.
-
Can I Move on the Weekend?
-
Weekend moves are only allowed in extenuating circumstances. New and existing residents should not expect to be able to move on Saturdays.
-
If you are approved to move in on a Saturday, a $500 nonrefundable Move Fee will be applied.
-
How do I bring items into the building?
-
Move items down the garage ramp, through the mezzanine double doors, and into the padded elevator.
-
Return any borrowed items (like a garage opener) immediately after your move.
What elevator can I use?
-
You must use the reserved elevator with protective pads installed. Do not prop open doors or use the “hold” feature without permission.
What happens if I don’t follow the rules?
-
Violations may result in a $500 fine. You are also responsible for any damage, theft, or vandalism that occurs during your move.
